Family Update: July 2010

What an amazing ride we have been on since our adoption of Maya Grace. She is growing like crazy and is not a baby anymore. She is active and full of personality. We are really enjoying watching the little person she is becoming. God has truly blessed us with the privilege of raising her and shaping her life. As we enjoy Maya Grace we also look forward to adopting again and she has even been picking out names for her new baby sister or brother. Adoption Discovery was so helpful to us when we started our adoption journey and continues to help us as we look for baby number two.

Update 

Today we are celebrating our 2 year adoption anniversary! Caitlyn will be going into 2nd grade and Hailey will be going into 1st grade this next year. Both have managed to stay on the honor roll all year! We just returned from our vacation at Key Lime Cove in Gurnee, IL where we spent three days swimming and having a blast after attending Jon's nephew's wedding. We plan to spend the summer reading, scrap booking, and learning to sew! The girls are learning to manage money with Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace Jr. They love earning money and deciding how to spend it on the things they really want. Caitlyn is saving up for an American Girl doll and Hailey keeps changing her mind on how to spend hers.
